The "8121" edition of 'Artiste SS' is Volume II of the IDS limited edition series: 'The Rarest'. It's designed to celebrate their 40th birthday which was on the 16th of February!

Constructed inside just like the famous 'Heather Split-Sole' with the same fit, comfort, padding and flexible split-sole, the difference is in the style of the upper where greater creativity is allowed, combining several fabrics for their most artistic design! "8121" celebrates the 40th of IDS! The company was founded in 1981 and they wanted to create a limited edition shoe to celebrate - using bold and iconic combinations of pink and blue! That special fabric around the laces is both pink and blue! If you look from one side it's pink, from another angle it's blue! They also wanted to include the lightweight and breathable AirMesh fabric because firstly it's such a great fabric for teaching and practice but secondly, it's innovative and they have always prided themselves on constant improvements and advances. It also features a brand new pink sole and a new shade of blue sole too!
